We are inspired and driven each day to meet the needs of our clients with an unsurpassed level of service, integrity and deep technical knowledge.VBR technicians have more than 45 years of combined technical experience.

As state-certified roofing contractors for more than 40 years, VBR principals Stephen D. Bischoff and Gary Dillon, and their associates, work closely with architects, builders, developers and homeowners to determine the best roofing system for a specific project or individual customer.

The VBR team has completed thousands of residential and commercial projects - from oceanfront estates and assisted living facilities to hospitals, schools, shopping malls, hotels, resorts, manufacturing plants and condominiums.

VBR's knowledgeable roofing professionals have the in-depth training and experience, backed by state-of-the-art roofing equipment and the latest materials, to install any roofing system approved for use in Florida.

The roofing professionals of VBR are committed to provide each of our customers with unmatched quality workmanship at the best possible cost. We also offer our clients a full maintenance program designed to extend the life of their roof by an average of 50 per cent and ensure all the manufacturers' warranties are maintained.

Delivering the products and services we promised is the key to our success. Since its inception, VBR has performed and delivered quality commercial and residential roofing solutions and services throughout Florida's coastline. We take great pride in knowing our customers appreciate our work.

"For 20 years I was the CFO of a general contracting firm in New Canaan, Ct. Our mission statement was - Performance. In the end it's all that really matters, your ability to impose your will, to achieve the objective, to keep the promise to honor the commitment: - you live our Mission Statement. Thank you for having the smarts to hire such talented young men" Dorie Moore

For our workers as well as our customers - safety is top of mind at VBR. Our team of experienced applicators are routinely trained and then monitored to insure everyone on the roof is taking all necessary precautions to avoid any problems.

Making sure our customers are safe during the entire process of installing or replacing a roof is just as important. We work closely with project and building managers to create as little disruption to those who live and visit the buildings we roof, while taking extra steps to maintain a safe environment during the life of the project.

VBR also has a Certified Roofing Torch Applicator (CERTA) program in place. This program provides our torch applicators with the latest requirements for the safe use of roofing torches and new industry guidelines.

These sessions promote:

  • Safe and proper working and application practices
  • Torch welding equipment and its proper use
  • Vapor and liquid propane technology, use and storage
  • Fire prevention and protection

As green roof system technology and building construction continues to evolve, VBR technicians are actively involved in expanding their knowledge and experience in the assemblies and installation of these practices.

According to the National Roofing Contractors Association, green roofs should be designed only after considering a number of criteria such as climate, the building's intended use and life expectancy, structural systems, LEED™ considerations, slope and drainage, penetrations, and accessibility among others. These plant filled roof top gardens offer energy saving alternatives to traditional roofing styles.

For those buildings where garden-style roofs are not viable, VBR provides customers with other sustainable roofing technologies, including a wide range of recycled and natural materials, such as clay tile, slate, and single-ply systems.

VBR green roofscapes often start with insulation which provides an important underlayment to keep properties cool under the relenting Florida sun. Choosing insulation with the highest R-value, assures the most resistance against the heat.
