Prolonging the Life of the Roof

According to a recent study by the roofing industry, roofs that are part of a maintenance program last 50% to 70% longer than those without proper supervision. To that end, VBR has created a full-service preventive maintenance program designed to maximize the life of your roof and minimize the cost of upkeep and unplanned emergency repairs.
The VBR Roof Maintenance Program includes:

  • Analysis
A certified roofing professional will conduct an initial analysis to determine the condition of your roof and provide a detailed report. For roofs under existing roofing manufacturer's warranties, we will make sure to make you are in compliance with their requirements.
  • Repairs & Maintenance
Perform roofing maintenance work that can include base flashing at perimeter walls and other roof openings, metal flashings, pitch pans, open laps and deteriorated surfacing
  • Inspections
Two complete visual inspections per year, including protective maintenance for conditions caused by storm damage, environmental or seasonal changes and normal wear and tear of the roof
  • VBR Service Plan
A three-year program that includes immediate response to any roofing problem. In the event of a sudden roof failure or water intrusion, VBR will provide priority attention to you roof needs
  • Crisis Response Program
Custom-designed programs for wide range of government services or business which are critical to the community during an emergency or disaster situations. We work with individual organizations to develop a disaster - response program that speaks directly to your needs.

We believe quality begins with your choice of a contractor. Our technical roofing experts are often called on by architects, builders and building planners to help them develop the most appropriate roofing system for a specific project or individual customer

To achieve the best roofing system that performs its function properly for an anticipated service life requires proper design, quality materials and excellent workmanship. We have enjoyed long term relationships with designers and builders who involve us early in the process of selecting compatible roofing materials and applications.

VBR has a crew dedicated to completing the process of waterproofing the buildings we also roof. These types of jobs include:

Decks
Depending on exposure, traffic patterns and the aesthetics demanded by the client, we help clients choose the system that would work best for them. These include between slab membranes, undertile waterproofing and anti-slip surfacing in a variety of colors and textures

Walls
Providing solutions on vertical surfaces of masonry, concrete or stucco; or where dissimilar materials meet, such as masonry and metal joints; or on curtain walls and tilt-up construction joints is also part of what we do with a variety of waterproofing materials.

Parking Decks
Creating or restoring roof-top parking decks that can withstand traffic wear and tear, oils and rubber residue requires the expertise of roofing/waterproofing contractor. Each projects in considered individually and our experts take a great deal of pride in coming up with quality solutions.

Having lived and worked around the clock through Hurricane Andrew in 1992, Jeanne and Frances in 2004 and Katrina and Wilma in 2005, has given our roofing professionals the experience needed to help thousands of customers and homeowners left without a roof over their heads during unpredictable storms and other disasters.

Whether it's an entire community hit by a disaster or a single emergency, our staff can mobilize to provide immediate help to our customers.

Part of our emergency response program includes stockpiling roofing materials during the most vulnerable times of the year to insure we have what we need in-house to provide services to large numbers of customers. We also have long-standing relationships with leading roofing materials manufacturers who can quickly deliver supplies needed to do the job required to keep our customers dry.

As was the case in the aftermath of each hurricane to hit Florida during the past two decades, we were able to dispatch crews the next day working tirelessly and virtually around the clock to help restore businesses and homes.
